OUR MISSION

The mission of the school counseling program at Osborne High School is to provide a comprehensive counseling program for all students. As school counselors, we strive to encourage our diverse student population to reach their maximum potential by developing their academic, career, and social/emotional skill sets. The school counseling staff works to inspire all students to become life-long learners and innovative members of society through collaboration with faculty, families, and the community.

OUR VISION

The students from Osborne High School will be engaged members and innovative leaders in a global society. Every student will develop life-long skills and participate in opportunities provided by the comprehensive school counseling program which fosters personal growth through collaboration with stakeholders. All students will utilize their education at Osborne High School to become advocates for themselves and their communities.

OUR BELIEFS

  • All students deserve to be treated with respect and dignity

  • Every student will have access to a standards-based comprehensive school counseling program

  • Every student should have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for successful post-secondary plans

  • Every student has the opportunity to meet success through a variety of means and at different rates while receiving equitable services

  • Every student will have access to a qualified school counselor who will work to address each student’s individual academic, career, and social/emotional needs and assist in advocating and removing barriers for all students

  • Our school counseling program thrives through partnerships and collaboration with faculty, families, students and the community

  • Accountability is obtained through analyzing data acquired through assessments of our comprehensive school counseling program
