DUAL ENROLLMENT

Dual Enrollment is a program that allows participating high school students to take college classes. This opportunity allows students to simultaneously earn high school and college credit by attending and passing approved college classes. Students can earn up to 30 semester hours (roughly 10 classes) through the Dual Enrollment program.

BENEFITS

  • EARN: High School students can take college classes and earn both high school and college credit

  • FREE: The Dual Enrollment program does not cost the student money unless they participate in specialty classes

  • OPPORTUNITY: Dual Enrollment does not consider citizenship status, it is FREE for ALL high school students

STRONG CANDIDATES

  • ACADEMICS: Around a 3.0 GPA and have been successful in Honors or AP courses

  • TRANSPORTATION: Students will need their own transportation to their classes

  • SELF-DISCIPLINED: Students must be focused and responsible while taking college classes 

HOW TO APPLY

  • SCHEDULE: Students should schedule an appointment with their counselor to discuss this opportunity

  • ATTEND: Dual Enrollment informational sessions will be held  throughout the semester. Students can sign up for the sessions (COMING SOON)
